Stretching The Soul

To go along with the quote,"When we shrink from the world, our souls shrink, too." I do agree with the rest in saying that this quote touches on something very real. The fact that if we confine ourselves to isolation, we inhibit our growth as humans. Also, in doing so, we restrict our ability to truly find who we really are and what we can do to help the world. We virtually close our eyes to our true potential. I also believe that if we allow the world to condition us into thinking that we cannot make a difference, it eats at a person. There is something very profound in saying what one truly believes and making a stand for it. It ties into living a "full" life, a life of meaning and purpose. This author makes a great point!!
